Dr Bamigboye-Taiwo is a is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics & Child Health, OAU, Ile-Ife, and a Paediatric Cardiologist with the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife, Osun State. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery (MBChB) and a master’s degree in Physiological Sciences at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She is a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCPaed). She had further training as a clinical fellow in Paediatric Cardiology at the Edmond J. Safra International Congenital Heart Center at Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Hashomer, Israel.

She is passionate about caring for children with heart diseases. She strongly believes that every child should be given a chance to live a healthy life. She is a well-published researcher and has mentored and supervised medical students and resident doctors. She has attended many national and international conferences in Paediatrics and Paediatric Cardiology. She was recently at the Medical University of Vienna for an observership in Paediatric Cardiology. She is a member of many professional organizations including the Paediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN), the Nigerian Cardiac Society and the Nigerian Society for Paediatric Cardiology.
