Prof. (Mrs.) E. A Adejuyigbe is a Professor of Paediatrics and Child Health at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She is a distinguished neonatologist and Paediatric HIV expert and quintessential clinical researcher. She is a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and the Nigerian Academic of Medicine. She is a former Head of Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, OAU and a former Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences of the same University. She had served the University and its affiliate teaching hospitals in various capacities including Chairman Ethics and Research Committee of the OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and Executive Director, Central Office of Research, OAU, Ile-Ife.

She is an external examiner to many Universities in the country and a post graduate examiner to the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. She is the Principal Investigator to many international ground breaking impactful studies including and not limited to the AFRINEST study, ACTION TRIAL, iKMC trial, Neonatal Emolient study, ACTION TRIAL implementation study and Growth study. She had mentored and continue to mentor generations of Paediatricans and neonatologists some of whom are professors in Nigeria and in diaspora. She is a member of many professional bodies and member of many National and global committee on Neonatal and Child Health. She is a meticulous clinician, a research per excellence and a passionate teacher.
